Yesterday was my little Dylans second birthday. He had such a nice day. We spent the morning with Frasers mum and husband, and took Dylan up to "the soft bear centre". Its an indoor adventure area for little ones. And in the evening we went over to my mums, and had a little party. I made his card but cant show you as I have left my camera at my mums.
I have found a fab set of tutorials for Illustrator at blog.spoongraphics . They show you how to make simple style monsters and are really good at getting to learn the basics.

Happy Ellie
I have started to try and learn the basics on Adobe Illustrator, my god it is confusing! There is so much to learn. I have used Photoshop in the past so I thought it would be pretty much the same as that. But alas it is going to take alot of practice, I cant seem to find a way to do simple things like fill in a background. Unfortunatly I am not the quickest person when it comes to computers and technology. But I am going to try and trawl through the many tutorials that are out there on the web, and hope they help my understanding of it.
I managed to create a nice little elephant whilst messing about doodling. I have made them into ACEO art cards, because I was so pleased with the way they turned out. I have them for sale in my Etsy shop.

not happy, not happy, not happy, HAPPY ELLIE!!

Ceramic Heart Mini cards
These are from a new collection that I have made. They are miniature cards, measuring approx 10cm x 6cm. Each card has a beautiful handpainted (unfortunatly, not by me), ceramic button, sewn onto a piece of felt.
This has then be placed on a printed card, and finished with a co-ordinating ribbon, tied in a bow.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated :)
